Rally Driving Tuition at Manby Motorplex Rally School...

We want everyone that comes to Manby Motorplex for either a driving experience (which may be a one-off) or to learn how to rally or improve their existing  Rallying skills to be able to really go for it.  Our rally cars are there to de driven - they're not for show and that's what sets Manby Motorplex apart from some other driving centres.  The terrain on which we teach is also the real thing - it is used by rallying clubs for their own rally events.  It most certainly ISN'T a predictable course!  See below for more detailed information about our Rally Courses

The Rally Cars
The Rally cars we use are Competition 205 GTi Peugeot Rally Cars. We expect you to want to use them as Rally cars - so don't expect a shiny show car, this is REAL Rallying!  Most Rally Experience participants reach speeds of 60mph on loose surfaces!

Where does the Tuition take place? 
You will be Rallying on REAL Rally stages that are used throughout the year by REAL Rally Clubs. We have tarmac and ten miles plus of loose surface available or a combination of both - weather permitting!

What’s involved? 
A half-day Rally course begins with tuition in the Rally car usually followed by some time in the skid car. Then it's onto the Rally stage proper for some practice runs and then finally timed Rally runs - putting into practice everything you've learned. 

During timed Rally runs, most participants take between four and six minutes to complete the Rally stage. After two timed runs you'll be treated to a high-speed chauffeured Rally ride with your instructor.
